This workshop is sponsored and led by a movement called Democracy Spring, which was created to get money out of politics through organized nonviolent civil-disobedience. This group is interested in getting their movement off the ground here in Michigan and if offering a training session to explain what their movement is about; how they intend to affect national politics; and how to properly conduct civil-disobedience so that it remains non-violent and puts people in the least amount of risk possible.
